The progressive metal quartet and blunt instrument of cosmic reckoning has performed only sporadically since announcing a hiatus in 2008 after the release of 10,000 Days (which, alas, was no Lateralus). Having had ample time to recharge its psychedelic fusion units, expect a colorfully brutal assault on your third eye, headbanging in unusual time signatures, and probably some new material to boot.
